Jen McMillin
Growing up, I was fascinated with Abraham Lincoln. It’s easy to see why - he was always around in Illinois. That’s why I studied politics, history, and public administration at the University of Illinois - Springfield.
Over my career, I’ve had the honor of working within and around the education sector, focusing on how to improve access, outcomes, and processes. I started a “real job” at the University of Illinois - Springfield, working as a mentor and project manager for the Abraham Lincoln & Leadership Academy. Today, I’m a progressive community advocate, working with local and statewide organizations to improve the future of Illinois.
